Mr. Davis is the founder of Davis Law Group, P.L. and practices in the areas of personal injury and criminal defense law. He considers himself “A country boy from Alabama”, who obtained his law degree the “old fashion way” from the University of Florida…….he earned it. Prior to practicing law, Mr. Davis spent eight (8) years in the United States Air Force as a Paralegal Specialist.
Mr. Davis attended the University of North Florida and graduated with a criminal justice degree. He was accepted into law school at the University of Florida and commuted from Jacksonville, to Gainesville, Florida every day for two-and-a-half years. His motivation and dedication allowed him to complete the usual three year program six months early.
Upon graduating law school, Mr. Davis was hired as an Assistant State Attorney (prosecutor), with the Fourth Judicial Circuit and later, as an Assistant General Counsel with the City of Jacksonville. He has had numerous trials as a prosecutor and gained an excellent reputation among his peers.
In May 2012, Mr. Davis retired as a Judge Advocate General (J.A.G.) with the Florida Air National Guard after serving a total of 30 years in the United States Air Force. Mr. Davis has served his Country, served his State, served his City and now wants to serve the citizens of Florida. He has been a principal member in two different law firms and established Davis Law Group, P.L. on January 1, 2007. Mr. Davis’ firm is “Dedicated to Demanding Justice for you.”
Mr. Davis is the father of two adult sons. In his spare time he likes to ride his motorcycle and play golf. Mr. Davis is a member of the Florida Bar, Jacksonville Bar Association and the D.W. Perkins Bar Association.
